Withdrawing your consent: If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, which may be express and/orimplied consent depending on the applicable law, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us by using the contact details provided in the section below. However, please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal, nor when applicable law allows, will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

Email or Text Communications.  From time to time, we and our service providers may send you email or text communications marketing our Services. 8.    CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected.At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.

9.    PUBLIC FORUMS, TESTIMONIALS, AND PATIENT STORIES

We offer features on our websites that allow users to connect and share their stories. You do not have to use these features, but if you do, please use common sense and good judgment when posting in these communities or sharing your information, photos, or videos with others.  Please be aware that any personal information you choose to submit in any communities, forums, or reviews can be read, collected, or used by others, and could be used to send unsolicited messages to you.  Despite our safety and privacy controls, we cannot guarantee that you will not encounter inappropriate or illegal conduct from others when using the products or services. You can help us to make our websites (including public forums) welcoming for all users by reporting any offensive or unwelcome conduct to us.

Ads on Third-Party Sites.  We use third party advertising companies to place ads on other sites.  We do this by allowing our advertising and social media partners to place their cookies on a browser of an individual who visits our sites and accepts the use of cookies.  The data received by our third party advertising and social media partners allows them to measure the effectiveness of such advertising and to provide advertisements on other websites about our services which are tailored to your interests.  For more information on how these sites use your personal information to target advertising to you, please visit their websites.

10.   PATIENT HEALTH INFORMATION

In performing our core functions, we are not a covered entity or a business associate as defined under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”) and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act of 2009 (the “HITECH Act”).  However, we routinely conduct business with medical practices, and as a result, situations arise when we may receive and store identifiable patient health information. We do so in accordance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, including those under HIPAA and the HITECH Act.
